Lemonade For Sale!

The girls have been begging to have a lemonade stand for years. I would always tell them that our street is too busy. Anyway, I finally broke down and let them try. The were so excited. They waved to all the passing cars and Aubrey did cartwheels out on the sidewalk. The were so happy out selling lemonade for about 2 hours. They did make $8 so I guess it was a success!

Soccer

Drew is playing soccer and loving it. He made 2 goals during his last game. He gets better and better each week. It has been fun to watch him play.

We had so much fun at Whit and Meg's house for our monthly Sunday family dinner. The kids thought the homemade rip line was great. Thanks uncle Jared for fixing it up for us!! It was also great to visit with our good friend Kevin!

Stadium of Fire

We had a great time at the Stadium of Fire on the evening of the 4th. The kids all absolutely LOVED the Jonas Brothers concert. John and I enjoyed hearing from Glenn Beck and the patriotic tributes and fireworks were also pretty amazing.

Independence Day

At the Kaysville City Parade. The girls rode on the Miss Wheelchair Float.

The evening cookout and poetry reading at Literacy Camp.

The Big Read-a-Thon

I'm not sure, but I think more snaking was going on than reading!

Literacy Camp

We had a super great time at writing camp with our cousins.
Thanks Aunt Tawnee for all the planning and work.

Mt Rushmore & Bear Country

Every year the kids love to drive through Bear Country in South Dakota.

We also went to the patriotic evening light ceremony at Mt. Rushmore.

Around the Camp Fire

The day after the fire, Drew & Rachel thought it still looked hot enough to roast a marshmallow.
